Your department provides the following:

• Course Load, Instruction, Funding and Modeling System (CLIFMS). You must be entered in CLIFMS as the Instructor of Record. Along with other information, this record automatically causes the course space to be created in MSU's Learning Management System (LMS). Check with the departmental secretary about procedures specific to your department. Typically TAs and GAs are also entered into CLIFMS.
• If you wish to use the online SIRS tool, your department must opt to use the system for all online courses. It is recommended that you do this at the beginning of the semester. Be sure to view the information in the Frequently Asked Questions and Information for Departments pages.
• Many departments will host preview pages for each course on their departmental web sites. These pages provide marketing and pre-class information for students interested in a particular course.
