One service capable of creating an electronic course pack is Proquest SiteBuilder. This is a companion service to the Proquest databases offered through the MSU Libraries. The Proquest databases provide wide subject and journal coverage along with providing access to some full text articles. Sitebuilder allows users to create durable links with built in security features to the contents of Proquest databases. Using these secured links, instructors can freely link to full text articles from the Proquest database in their teaching materials, create course packs, or an electronic reading room without having to pursue copyright permission. The durable links allow authorized students to access the results of pre-defined searches, TOC of journals, and specific journal articles that instructors recommend with no end-user searching required.
