David "Roger" Chance came to Michigan State University in 1998 through his work on a web based version of the Relationship Paradigm Assessment Scale (RPAS) application. This web application is now part of an award winning Human Ecology online course. Roger maintains web and database servers for Virtual University Design and Technology. He has done application development in several programming languages and database design and implementation using multiple database technologies. Roger works with ACNS on Angel MSU data integration and has collaborated with AIS on past university projects.

Roger comes from a background in production and machine shop work. This might explain why he views computers and software as tools. Tools that allow people to interact with each other and information in new and powerful ways. He enjoys providing the means to make that interaction possible. Roger also enjoys reading, camping, political discussion and vintage computers.

BJ McPhall joined vuDAT in August of 2008 bringing his experience from his past jobs as a Linux Administrator and Programmer. BJ holds a B.S. degree in Information Technology with a emphasis in networking. His duties at vuDAT include maintaining the Linux based database and web servers.
