Always build in time to test your course before students are expected to access it. It is strongly advised that you find people both familiar with your content and those who aren't to look through your material whenever possible. Graduate students and fellow faculty can offer valuable insights into the content and the methods you use to deliver it. The more feedback you get, the more you can improve your course. Testing especially applies to any multimedia content you may include in your course. Try it out on as many different computer configurations and connections as possible. The more aware you are of possible problems, the better prepared you will be to troubleshoot those problems and fix them ahead of time.
